Saw someone today, in the twilight of her life...... senseless, motionless.
Eyes were open but wondering in space.
Her face was pale but fresh.
My salam/greetings went past her deaf ears without any reaction.
Same happened when I waved my hand across her eyes.
Her grand daughter's wedding is near and all her family (sons, daughters and grand children) left her alone in her room.
A sad picture of life lying there on the bed........senseless, motionless.
Was she aware of her surroundings?
Does she know what was happening around her?
How she will be feeling after 9 years in that state......senseless, motionless.
Her eyes moving around without staying at anything.
Her left hand going up to her hair and coming down.
That was all the life I saw in her
And I stayed there looking at her.....senseless, motionless.
